Unsinkable legend is part of a Bond movie

The latest James Bond movie “SPECTRE” features a Boston Whaler 240 Outrage. The fact that a Boston Whaler hull is unsinkable fits perfectly within the style of 007. To give this boat an outstanding performance he was equipped with two Mercury Verado supercharged 150 HP outboards engines.

These pictures where published on the Boston Whaler UK website and on Daily Mail online. On the boat we see Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes and Lea Seydoux. Watch the video behind the scenes which was published by Atlantic Images. Thanks to the authors to share these moments.

Boston whaler and Mercury outboard enthusiasts can be proud with the appearance in the recent movie “SPECTRE”. Besides a fast boat also magnificent car models are appearing alongside their human co-stars. The most striking cars are a DB10 Austin Martin and  CX75 Jaguar.

Fast cars and boats have always been part of the 007 character created by Ian Fleming. Throughout the Bond movies the Q Branch has given Bond a wide variety of vehicles to battle his enemies. A popular example of marine vehicles in the past was a Glastron speedboat.

This time a Boston Whaler was used during a chase scene with actor Daniel Craig and the French actress Lea Seydoux in action. The scene was shot on the river Thames in central London UK, between Vauxhall Bridge and Westminster.

The boat scene in the movie is nice. Still in our opinion not spectacular enough because the unsinkable feature of a Boston Whaler “unibond construction” was not performed in a scene.

Dear Mister Bond, if you’re reading this…: Watch the commercial video from Boston Whaler and you will see what you can do with this “unsinkable legend” in your next movie.
